CRUEL WIND second print run now available!
Rob has been a member of Port Dalrymple Yacht Club for over forty years, Rob Matthews book CRUEL WIND, was launched on Friday the 13th March by former Tasmanian Premier Tony Rundle, with the first print run sold out by the following Monday, the second printing of the book is now available. CRUEL WIND is Rob's personal account of the events of the 1998 Sydney to Hobart, aboard Business Post Naiad. Rob has been a member of Port Dalrymple Yacht Club for over forty years, and has written the CRUEL WIND with Julian Burgess. The CRUEL WIND is the first account of the events of the 1998 Sydney to Hobart, by a competitor in the race, the 1998 Sydney to Hobart saw the death of six sailors, including long time PDYC member and Business Post Naiad skipper, Bruce Guy and fellow crewman Phil Skeggs.
