July Training Update
 Training Day at PDYC Just writing to notify you all of the new changes to the committee for the coming season. I have stepped up to the role of Vice Commodore, Rob has remained on the committee as a liaison with canteen and will most likely manage our storage bays again and Jason Harriss has stepped into the role of training coordinator. Just writing to notify you all of the new changes to the committee for the coming season. I have stepped up to the role of Vice Commodore, Rob has remained on the committee as a liaison with canteen and will most likely manage our storage bays again and Jason Harriss has stepped into the role of training coordinator. As you may know, Jason has been around the club for a few years now and has a couple of children involved in our junior programme. He is a very organised and safety conscious person who is more than capable of coordinating us all for training. I will still be around in a minor coaching role and ready to answer those sailing questions. I have marked off all of your log books (YES I still have them!!!) and Bob Silberberg is going to go over them and sign the appropriate pages off. Don't forget that the RYCT sail school is on the first weekend in the September school holidays. Also we have a lot of opportunity for new beginners to start learning to sail so if you know some one, get them along for a try! Cheers, Sam Edmunds
