The Port Dalrymple Yacht Club has 8 Spot trackers available for rental, the units were purchased for tracking runners in the 2011 Australian Three Peaks Race, with this asset now available the units are available to rent by members and non-members during the year.

The Spot Tracker is a very versatile unit that proved their in the last Australian three Peaks Race, adding another dimension to the online viewing of the race, allowing us to track the running legs, in addition to the sailing legs that are tracked with Ocean Track units.

The computer mouse size units are water proof and fully self-contained, they can be used on yachts, in cars, on bush walks and any other tracking scenario you can think of, the trackers are very simple to use and can be used in a OK message mode, or in tracking mode that sends out a position every 10 or so minutes, tracking mode muse be re-set every 24 hours.

The Spot trackers are perfect for keeping those at home up to date of you position and progress on your next cruise or yacht delivery trip, the units are equally at home on the dash of you car or 4X4 while trekking or travelling.

The Trackers are available at a rental of $35.00 per week, with a $15.00 set up cost for members and $35.00 for non members for each trip, for non members there is a $200.00 refundable bond, the set up cost includes setting up your nominated contact numbers on the message list along with your nominated emails addresses.
